Hello Citizens and Friends! Welcome in the Planets Citizens Project forum!

Planets Citizens is a project created in Real Life, in 1999, by Thierry Wathelet, aka Alexei Beaumont. It's about ambient and soundtrack music. It's about sharing... Feelings, emotions, talents, creativity, happiness, sadness with people all around the world. Free music for free people.

It's also a kind of global tribe based on friendship and on the idea that all the living beings in this universe are members of the same family. We are all different, but all the same. We are all made of stars dust. It is not a poetic or a romantic vision, it's just a fact.

That's why we are against the concepts that divide and try to control our minds. Racism, nationalisms, elitism, religions, actual society systems, scientific and cultural dogmatisms, etc. We also think that believing is not knowing. Is it an utopia? certainly not. The real utopia, the real madness is thinking that the mankind can survive without changing the system, changing our way to see the things around us.

And it's in this sate of mind that we, Geaven Gall, Heather Martynov and Alexei beaumont, have created a special project for Second Life. We have installed a sort of sanctuary for people who think that dreaming of a better world is the only way to have a better world. And what is better than music and Second Life for meeting people from all over the world? Well, it's the tool we are using.

What will you find in our sanctuary?

1. Ground Level : our welcome area with a teleporter to the other places. This place will be converted, when needed, as an open air stage for live music events! Yes, we definately want to promote some live musicians on Second Life.

2. Zennitude : a dark forest for peaceful and zen events. Ambient music, chill out sessions, collective destressing sound therapy, talks, conferences, etc.

3. Space Station: this will be the main building of the sanctuary. On top, we have the Dock 51, our club. Live dj's, many different styles of music: EBM, industrial, dark electro, darkwave, house, techno, trance, Minimalist electro, 80s, New wave, Rock, Pop, Metal, etc. Why no rap or R'n'B? Well, 95% of the SL clubs are playing that mainstream music. The other areas of the station are under construction but i can already tell you that you will find a music shop where you will discover new singers, composers, producers, etc.
